Hongkong Capacity Enlarge Project (PV-Storage-Diesel Replacement)

01  |

1.Project Size:
•250kwW/500 kWh battery energy storage system;
•30kW Grid Power;

2.Industry:
Mining & Construction

3.Project Overview:
This project is a grid capacity enlargement and diesel replacement initiative in Hong Kong. By deploying a 250kW PV system with a 500kWh energy storage system, combined with 30kW grid power, it achieves peak shaving and valley filling, replaces diesel power generation, and improves power supply reliability and the proportion of clean energy.

As shown in the BESS Metrics chart:
State of Charge (SOC): Maintained at nearly full capacity (approximately 95%–100%) throughout the day, ensuring continuous power supply capability.

Output current: Fluctuates with load demand and shows multiple peaks during daytime, reflecting stable support for high-power electricity demand.

Input current: Adjusts dynamically with PV charging and grid replenishment to realize efficient energy dispatch.

The project effectively reduces diesel consumption and carbon emissions while relieving grid peak pressure, providing a reliable off-grid/hybrid microgrid solution for commercial and industrial scenarios in Hong Kong.
